The hotel itself was not five star, but the breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very, very nice. One of the advantages - reasonably spacious rooms; they included shower facilities, a hair dryer, and bath sheets. The location was magnificent, not too far from The Cavern Club.

The rooms were bright and immaculate, and the bathroom was clean with a walk-in shower. Its location was stunning, to the restaurants in town. Had lunch/dinner at The Lord Warden, which I found just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel.

You guys made my stay really really nice. I truly enjoyed this small family run hotel and stayed for 2 nights here. The location a short walk from the beach was great. Took a walk around city centre, located at a medium distance from the property. The staff were amiable, knowledgeable and helped me with free parking. They offered coffee, toast, and cereals for breakfast.

The hotel was delightful and the location was great and incredible close enough to Torquay and Paignton, and the sea front through a lovely abbey and gardens.
