The location was good, the staff was outstandingly accommodating. I tried some drinks at bar The Red Lion, located 20 minutes walk away. The breakfast included scrambled eggs and bacon and was large.

This was a really nice stay for one night. The hotel had warm breakfasts with toast, pastries, muffins. The location was perfect in a nice grassy area, right by the Victorious festival on the Sunday, and Portsmouth attractions such as the Navel Dockyards. And it was not too far from Spice Village, ate there couple of times.
