Magnificent location really close to Bennett's Pub which had great food, the Royal mile / Edinburgh Castle and the bus stop where bus number 10.

We recommend staying at this old-fashioned hotel. Everything is nice here, had a lovely stay for 2 nights in Averon guest house. The location is particularly good, close enough to many shops and bus-stops and central Edinburgh with car parking and a good breakfast. Don't forget to visit nearby Cafe Modern One, they have best coffee ever.

Liked my stay and would recomand this hotel. My stay was lovely on a road trip. The location was brilliant and best possible, so close to everything, in the very quiet area. I found Akva offering shots and different drinks 1 km of the venue. My room included an electric kettle, central heating and a TV set with satellite channels. The beds were comfy, like a cloud. The staff was excellent, always there to help.
