Welcoming and polite staff and the place was clean. Hopefully the room was airy and tidy with comfortable beds, a shower, for example. The location was great, just a short stroll away from landscaped gardens. The food they offered was fine, had a great selection of meals.

Charming old and excellent hotel located in a domestic area close enough to the centre of town. Nicely decorated and well-appointed rooms with comfortable beds, central heating, an iron/ironing board, and TV. Excellent and amiable staff at all times. Perfect location, so close to Saint Mary's Cathedral. A lot of food at the good and gorgeous breakfast.

Liked how beautiful old and excellent the property was. The staff were excellent from the moment we arrived. A lot of food for breakfast, which was fine to satisfy everyone. The hotel had a fab and nice location to Robin Hood's Bay. Further, it was near to the attractions and an off-road cycle route.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi connection was weak.
