I stayed for 2 nights here and had a good time. The location was perfect and I could use private parking on-site. And the area was peaceful, near to the seaside, Scafell Pike for the day and Barrow centre.

The hotel was in a remote location set in a lovely area. Tried some takeout specials at Harry Ramsden's, luckily it was at a walking distance from the venue. The bedroom was bright and exceptional. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and it was great having a microwave, central heating, and an iron/ironing board.

Our large and airy room was equipped with the basics like a microwave, central heating, and an iron/ironing board. The service was absolutely good. It had ideal and perfectly comfortable location near the garden, the town centre and a farm in a secluded laneway. Also, we were 4 km from popular place such as a main war memorial.

Nice little and amazing hotel, stayed here for 1 night and had a great experience. The staff were superfriendly, the room was reasonably spacious and bright. Garden view was good and the location was lovely and particularly good, short walk to Ulverston and central lakes, Windermere or Scafell Pike and the South Lakes Wild Animal Park. We enjoyed it.
