The hotel was set in a very central area next to the beach and town centre, the seafront and the main parks and beaches. There were a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and central heating in the room, loved that.

The room was quiet and immaculate with smoke detectors for safety measures, and central heating, an iron, and coffee/tea makers. Hearty breakfast with sizable portions was a nice touch. The location was great and particularly good, close to the beach which is handy as well, convenient to go everywhere.

The queen room that we stayed in was immaculate and perfect. The venue was in a very central location short walk to both the beaches of South Shields and the metro station. Found time to see South and North Marine Parks, that's within easy walking distance of the property.

I spend 2 nights in South Shields lovely. The rooms were accommodating and fairly quiet and the beds were very comfy. The location was marvellous, minutes from Arbeia Roman Fort Museum. Proximity to the pub and restaurants was a huge bonus.

The staff was amiable, went the extra mile to provide a really comfortable stay. Had very central location to the Metro Station in the town centre. Tried some nice meals at Royal Tandoori, located minutes from the hotel.

Honestly nothing to complain about. Best base for discovering South Shields. The breakfast with sizable portions. Location - great just off the shops, the pier and the sea front and parks. Besides, excellent for visiting a waterfront funfair.

I did not want to leave, spent very comfortable time and totally recommend. Accommodating room, that also was absolutely perfect with shared loo. The atmosphere created was quiet. Location: the hotel was just next door to the diverse restaurants & stores. There were plenty of restaurants to eat, like Tandoori International that was only 5 minutes' walk away...
