As for me, the location was magnificent, really close to the beach and harbour, and the harbor via a shortcut. Coffee and a lounge area were available in my twin room.

The hotel is brilliant, has efficient staff and fantastic sea views. The rooms are modest, the breakfast is delicious. The setting is quiet, it's close to local beaches, hiking trails and walks, and both the harbour and coastal pathways. It has a downstairs bar, that serves hot drinks. Would stay here again when in Ilfracombe, we didn't feel like leaving.

I find it a good old place to stay. A special thanks to caring and knowledgeable staff. It boasts perfect, magnificent location short walk to Ilfracombe habour, both the harbour and the hill and house. A nice touch is also the hot beverages in the downstairs bar.
