As for me, the location was unbeatable and nice, very close to the Peasholm Park which is located across the road, good restaurants, and 5 minutes walk from North Bay and regular buses to South Bay. Also, Cleveleys Front Promenade was 2 km away. Loved the way my family twin room was arranged with tea, hairdryer, for instance.
Paid gbp 7 per 24 hours to access the net, but Wi-Fi was very limited.

The location was peaceful for traveling around Scarborough, not far from Peasholm Park as well as restaurants.
